Parents are responsible for supporting their children with understanding how to travel safely between home and school.

Busways North West operate one designated school bus route (683) between Chatswood Station and Mowbray Public School each morning and afternoon on school days.

A range of public bus routes pass by the school. These are not school bus routes, so they are also used by the general public.

Driving and parking

The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.

When driving and parking near our school, please:

• ensure you park safely in school zones
• follow speed signs
• do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.

There is a Kiss and Ride drop-off and pick-up area outside the main entrance to the school on Mowbray Road. This area can be very busy in the morning and afternoon, so please be safe and considerate of others. Please remember:

• you can only remain in this area for a maximum of 2 minutes
• you must remain with your vehicle - you cannot park and walk into the school
• council rangers regularly patrol the area
