Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Harmony Day, part of Harmony Week, occurs in March each year and is an opportunity to build awareness of racism and promote the need to advance equity for all people in NSW public education.
The ongoing theme of Harmony Week is ‘everyone belongs’. Harmony Week is a time of cultural respect for all. Orange is the colour chosen to represent Harmony Week. Mowbray students can choose to wear something orange, or their traditional cultural dress, on Harmony Day to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.
Education Week Open Day is an opportunity for parents, carers and family members to come into classrooms to see the amazing work Mowbray students have been doing throughout the year.
During this week, the school also holds a showcase event for the school's performance groups as well as a Book Fair in the school library.
